Sanjivan (संजीवन)
In collaboration with the Maharashtra State AIDS Control Society, the Sanjivan Link Worker Scheme launched in 2017 with trained link workers in 100 villages — offering education, counseling, and access to care for high-risk and marginalized groups.
Key activities
Awareness sessions for youth, women, and health workers; special health camps for high-risk groups; free condoms, treatment, and ART adherence support.
Impact
30,728 individuals received consultations and help; 75,000+ blood tests conducted; 276 new cases of HIV identified — all individuals survived as of December 2024.
