Building local connections to healthcare
Our initiative
Even when mobile units are available, fear, lack of knowledge, or cultural barriers can keep families away. We train local youth as Community Health Workers in maternal and child health, nutrition, hygiene, first aid, and disease prevention — creating a trusted bridge between rural families and professional services.
Reach & quality
Today 36 active community health workers serve 24 villages and 12 urban slums. Continuous training and quarterly reviews keep skills current. We plan to expand the cadre so more remote communities receive timely health education and early intervention.
